SpringHill Suites by Marriott Greenville Downtown

Great location in the center of downtown. There is a Publix supermarket nearby with 5 min walk. Employees were professional, but not very friendly. It's a very modern hotel, great design of lobby and common area. The breakfast dining room is huge, lots of seating space. Great breakfast with plenty of food options. The flavored water station was out of the flavor syrup but didn't have sign up, so took us a bit to figure out why we were only getting just water without the selected flavor until we asked the employee. The hot water took a long time to get in the room, had to run the water for minutes before it would be hot, not sure if that was a one time issue or it's an ongoing issue. If it's something ongoing, then it's a waste of water and should be looked it. The AC was LOUD! Definitely should be checked. Have ear plugs with you if you can't sleep well with noise or turn off the AC. Google labels this hotel as 2 stars hotel. I would disagree with that, this is for sure a 3 stars hotel! All in all, great hotel! We will recommend and will consider staying again.

I have been coming to this hotel for approximately two years. In the beginning this hotel was so clean you could eat off the floor. Over the years, it is started to get really, really dirty. No joke. There was a fingerprint on the elevator door for four days when I was there like a chocolate stain or a bloodstain. I did not take a picture of that but I did take a picture of some other stuff I'll show you. The staff is just not cleaning the rooms well. We got a bathtub room water was 80 degrees max so I had hot water. I guess. Could not get the temp in the room over 69 degrees and it was 17 degrees when we were there. I could not get warm to save my life. We were there for five days. That is the hotel that my wife's company put us up in every single time we go. And it's always been clean but it was just gross this time it was gross. They told us we get our room cleaned every other day we had to clean one time in five days, that's debatable they actually clean the room. All they did was make the bed. Their gym is amazing And clean. And the commentaries other than the buttons were just gross, but everything else was clean. I even saw some Guy vacuuming the carpets, were the front door open automatically. Their breakfast is also really good and clean from what I mean if the room wasn't so gross I wouldn't even question it but it was just gross for days.

Went to hotel to get a room that I reserved for the price that was on their own site. After I got there they informed me it was the wrong price and went up $10. I realize I had left my bag with the valet and by the time I got back, the manager was there with the front desk person And the price of the room had tripled. They even charged my credit card after I told them I would not be able to pay for the room because that was too high. So before you go to this hotel, you better make sure that they are giving you the correct price it doesn’t matter what’s online they are subject to change it.
